Jenny Luetkemeyer founded The Laetare Center in 2022 in response to the increasing need in the local community for Christ-centered, family-based faith formation and academic support for the youngest children. Jenny is a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd trained catechist of over 25 years and a Montessori guide of 13 years. She has a Masters in Education from Loyola University with a specialization in Montessori and holds an AMI 6-12 diploma. She worked as a Montessori guide in classrooms for many years, during which time she witnessed a growing trend toward the removal of many of the spiritual aspects of the offerings and away from home - toward all-day, every-day school. Guided by the wholehearted belief that child development should be centered on relationship with Christ and that young children belong, first and foremost, within a prepared home setting with their parents as their primary educators, Jenny started The Laetare Center to serve families in their mission to form God-loving, well-rounded, joyful children.
